VTB Bank (Armenia) and Visa summed up marketing campaign "Winter with VTB"

ArmInfo. VTB Bank (Armenia) and Visa Company summed up the results of the marketing campaign "Winter with VTB", and awarded the winners. As the press service of the bank told ArmInfo, among the 100 most active participants of the action "Winter with VTB", 10 winners were determined, each of whom received certificates for the purchase of household appliances from partner outlets.

According to the source, Varuzhan Gekhamyan, Nver Karapetyan, Garik Hayrapetyan, Tigran Davtyan, Anna Bayburtyan, Armine Aslanyan, Vahe Melkonyan, Arsen Mirzoyan, Aharon Harutyunyan and Asatur Vardanyan were the happy owners. The owner of the main prize - the car of Hyundai Solaris was Armen Levonyan. The drawing of prizes was held at the Hilton Hotel in the presence of all participants, the live broadcast of which was conducted on the facebook page of VTB Bank (Armenia).

To recall, another campaign "Winter with VTB" was valid since November 20, 2016 till February 20, 2017.  To the participants of the action - to Visa cardholders of VTB Bank (Armenia), in order to qualify for the most active status, during this period it was necessary to carry out 50 non-cash transactions for the largest amount and 50 non-cash transactions of the largest number. VTB Bank (Armenia) with Visa has been carrying out similar actions for the 6th time.

According to the analytical review "Armenian banks in the card business" prepared by IC ArmInfo, VTB Bank (Armenia) holds the leading position in the plastic market not only in terms of the number of active cards (both general and separately for Visa and MasterCard), but also by the volume of transactions both general and ATM. So, on October 1, 2016 the bank has about 518 thousand cards, of which almost 79% or 408 thousand units are Visa. On an annual basis, the bank increased the total number of cards by 12.1%, due to a 4.5-fold increase in the MasterCard number, with a 4.5% decline in the number of Visa. The volume of plastic transactions on the cards of VTB Bank (Armenia) for 9 months of 2016 amounted to about 160 billion AMD (with an annual growth by 11.5%), of which almost 147 billion AMD are ATM transactions (with annual growth by 9.1%). As of October 1, 2016, the bank had 346 POS-terminals and 156 ATMs. Until 2013, VTB Bank (Armenia) issued and serviced only international VISA cards, after which, starting from September of the same year, becoming a full member of the international payment system MasterCard Worldwide, started issuing and servicing Cirrus/Maestro, MasterCard Standard and MasterCard Gold cards. Along with this, the bank also serves local ArCa cards. The bank has its own processing.
