ArmInfo. Biochip Russian Scientific Research Entity will render to Armenian medical entities free of charge at the first stage its latest scientific innovation - cancer treatment biochip. This was stated on May 3 to journalists by Svyatoslav Zinoviev, the vendor of the Project. Based on results of today meetings, a list of clinics will be determined to deliver first experimental shipment of Russian vendors' products. The first entity to be visited by Russian delegation will be the Cancer Research Center of Armenia. At the same time the works on specialists trainings to operate the biochip, which will become the newest tool of cancer diagnostics within testing systems. The biochip testing systems are special due to those simplicity available for ordinary clinics, and it is capable to substitute the laboratories costing over USD 300 thousands. The newest research of Russian specialists has not analogues in the world, which is stated by USA, Japan and Switzerland leading clinics. What is to the price of Russian specialists' product, it is three times less than that of modern laboratories
Zinovyev accentuated that in Armenia, which is friendly country for Russia, the situation requires urgent steps, and biochips implementation will give an option to the nationals to get the necessary medical treatment. The advantage of this product is the high definition of the results ( 93%), the minimum time of analysis is 60 minutes, the option of distant consultation based on the results of analysis, and the price available for final consumer.
To mention, according statistics data, every year about 2700 people in Armenia turn disabled in the result of cancer deceases, due to which economical losses exceed AMD 75 mln per annum.
