ArmInfo. Armenian Government rendered a 3 year grace period in respect to VAT for the equipment imported by Sevani ishkhan JSC (Sevan Salmon). Appropriate draft resolutution has been approved at the Government session on May 4.
According to Suren Karayan, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia, there are AMD 682 mln investments planned to be implemented within the framework of the project, as well as 23 new jobs are expected to be created with average monthly salary at AMD 290 thousands. According to the investment project, it is planned also to set a fish farming complex.
To remind, Armenian Government separated 180 Ha at the shore of Sevan for fish farming. The fish will be grown immediately in the lake water. The fish industry project total cost is estimated at AMD 66 bln (about USD 162 mln). The 75% of the products are planned to be exported.
