ArmInfo. The Armenian parliament at an extraordinary meeting on June 9 adopted in the second and final reading a program of privatization of state-owned objects for 2017- 2020.
According to the head of the department for state property management Arman Sahakyan, it is already the sixth program under which it is planned to include 47 state enterprises in the document, 23 of which were automatically transferred from the previous program. Several large projects have been introduced into the privatization program, including Haypost, Armenfilm, Hrazdan Stadium, Central Bus Station, Yerevan Jewelry Factory, Institute of Physiotherapy and Balneology, Fanardjian Cancer Center, Radioisotope Production Center , The medical center "Arabkir", the Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Medicine, etc. The government plans to receive 35-36 billion AMD from the sale of all these companies. The main objective of the presented law is to attract investments in the development of these facilities.
