Japanese Government to provide Armenia with a grand of $1.8 million  to monitor and database collection in agricultural sector

ArmInfo. The Government of  Japan with World Bank assistance will provide Armenia with a grant of  $1.8 million to monitor and database collection in agricultural  sector. Gegham Gevirgyan, Director of Agriculture Development Fund  said in the Ministry of Agriculture on June 16. 

According to him, reported by the press service of the department,  the program will be implemented in July 2017. It is supposed that in  the beginning it will occupy only one region of the republic. The  works are carried with space pictures and explorers. Besides, a  spectral analyses will be carried, assessment of damages, collection  of all data on agriculture, including land status, cultivated and  uncultivated land, water resources, vegetation types, etc.
