ArmInfo. RA Prime Minister  Karen Karapetyan participated in the discussions on the development  of the economy of Armenian communities on June 30.

According to the press service of the government, the Prime Minister  stressed the importance of holding such events, that they are  consonant with the policy of the executive body on the sustainable   development of the regions. "We have said many times that we must  give new impetus, a new breath to the steadfast system of government  that connects the government - regional administrations and local  communities." The proportional development of the regions is an  extremely important task for our republic. "The citizen of the  country, the problems facing them, first of all, tries To solve in  communities. From how the issues of transport, business environment,  sanitation, justice, creation of jobs are put in the community, the  citizen evaluates the activity of the government with all its minuses  E and advantages ", - said Karen Karapetyan.

He noted that recently courses were organized at the American  University of Armenia for governors, which is evidence that the  development of the skills of local managers should be consistent. "In  this context, we are taking certain steps, in particular, at the end  of last year we decided on the programs for the development of  communities that have already been received, and the communities  presented business projects that can change the business environment  and help create jobs. Some of these programs have already begun, but  the quality of these programs, unfortunately, is far from modern  requirements, but we should not rest and follow this path, being sure  that eventually we will achieve the same which is expected by people  of the country, and which is necessary, "the RA Prime Minister said.
