ArmInfo. GDP per capita in Armenia in 2020 will be $ 4,700 instead of the current approximately $ 3,500. Answering the question of ArmInfo, Armenian Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan stated at a press conference on July 16.
At the same time, as the head of Armenian Ministry of Finance explained, the calculation was made based on the preservation of the exchange rate of 480 AM for one US dollar.
According to the previously approved medium-term expenditure program for 2018-2020, the Ministry of Finance of Armenia forecasts GDP growth in 2018 at 4.7%, in 2019 - 5.4%, in 2020 GDP growth will reach 5.7%. The nominal volume of GDP in 2018 will be 5.785 billion, in 2019 it will be 6.341 billion, and in 2020 the indicator will reach 6.974 billion.
