When decommissioning a nuclear power plant, one can talk about the need to possess technologies that will safely remove the nuclear facility from service and bring it to the "green lawn". "Therefore, Rosatom believes that at any stage in the development of the nuclear program for all countries, the training of personnel is one of the key elements of our cooperation, while five categories of personnel are needed from the point of view of the sustainable support and development of nuclear technologies: nuclear infrastructure personnel , That is, the personnel of the organizations that support the development of the nuclear project in the country, these are the personnel operating the nuclear power plant, the engineering and design personnel who are responsible for the construction Facilities, research staff that provides scientific support for projects, and of course, these are young professionals - graduates of universities and professors, "Valery Karezin said.

According to him, without understanding all five categories it is impossible to draw up a plan for training personnel for each country. In this area, cooperation with universities of partner countries continues.
