If we are talking about a country that operates nuclear power plants or research reactors, it is often a challenge for it to preserve and transfer knowledge, as well as to involve the young generation in the nuclear field. When decommissioning a nuclear power plant, one can talk about the need to possess technologies that will safely remove the nuclear facility from service and bring it to the "green lawn". "Therefore, Rosatom believes that at any stage in the development of the nuclear program for all countries, the training of personnel is one of the key elements of our cooperation, while five categories of personnel are needed from the point of view of the sustainable support and development of nuclear technologies: nuclear infrastructure personnel , That is, the personnel of the organizations that support the development of the nuclear project in the country, these are the personnel operating the nuclear power plant, the engineering and design personnel who are responsible for the construction Facilities, research staff that provides scientific support for projects, and of course, these are young professionals - graduates of universities and professors, "Valery Karezin said.

According to him, without understanding all five categories it is impossible to draw up a plan for training personnel for each country. In this area, cooperation with universities of partner countries continues. "We really need partners who speak the same language with us, for this reason we consider it very important to support the education system in a partner country based on local organizations and local universities that have developed cooperation with MEPhI, Ural Federal University, Tomsk Polytechnic University, Polytechnic University of St. Petersburg and Moscow State University, "- said V.
