Heads of Armenian and Belorussian governments discussed agenda of  Armenian-Belarusian economic ties

ArmInfo. Within the framework of  the working visit to Kazakhstan, the Prime Minister of Armenia Karen  Karapetyan had a conversation with his colleague from Belarus Andrei  Kobyakov. The heads of the governments of the two countries discussed  the agenda of the Armenian-Belarusian economic ties and the prospects  for their further development, the press service of the executive  body of Armenia reports.

The issues of cooperation within the framework of the EAEC were also  touched upon.

According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the foreign  trade turnover between Armenia and Belarus in the first half of 2017  was $ 19 million, with an annual growth of 37.4%. In particular,  imports increased by 66.9% to $ 15.8 million, with a decline in  exports of 27% to $ 3.2 million.
