ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan, who came from Nagorno-Karabakh, promised on behalf of his family to smash pomegranate gardens on the territory of 200 hectares. This statement was made during Karapetyan's visit to the Talish and Matagis communities of the NKR. Artak Beglaryan, spokesman for the head of the Artsakh government, said on his Facebook page.
The day before, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan and the Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan, who arrived in NKR on an unofficial visit, visited the Askeran, Martuninsky and Martakert districts. According to the press service, Karapetyan and Harutyunyan got acquainted with the methods of cultivation of pomegranate gardens and tobacco plantations through the system of drip irrigation. According to the NKR premier, considering the effectiveness of the program, the Artsakh government is ready to further encourage all those entrepreneurs who actively use advanced technologies in agriculture.
