We expect the cooperation and implementation of various programs with the Asian Development Bank in the energy sector to continue, said Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia Ashot Manukyan during the meeting with the Director of the Yerevan Office of the ADB Shane Rosenthal and the Deputy Director of the Private Sector Operations Department of the ADB Christopher Tien.
Manukyan, in particular, stressed the importance of cooperation conducted by Armenia with ADB noting that in the person of the bank, the republic has not only a good partner, but also a consultant.
In particular, the Minister paid importance to the cooperation of the Bank to the technical re-equipment of the company "High-voltage electrical networks", the implementation of other energy programs.
In his turn, Tien on behalf of ADB expressed readiness to contribute to the development programs of Armenia's energy sector and economy as a whole. According to him, the bank is interested in the programs presented by the minister and is ready to consider the possibility of his participation in them.
