ArmInfo. Council for the Support of International Business Relations and Armenian State Revenue Committee held a seminar-discussion in Tsaghkadzor on December 9, during which the participants discussed changes in the Tax Code, which comes into force on January 1, 2018.
"We regularly hold meetings of this format in order to listen to the opinion of representatives of large, medium and small businesses and financial institutions, in this case, on changes in the Tax Code," said Maryam Manukyan, chairman of the Council on International Business Relations.
In particular, during the seminar, discussions were held on the value-added tax, excise tax, income tax, turnover tax, environmental tax (environmental protection), payments for nature use, transport tax, patent tax, family business system, inspections and research, etc.
In addition, in order to increase the awareness of economic entities about the new Tax Code, due to numerous changes, the SRC will hold a number of meetings with representatives of large and medium- sized businesses in Yerevan and the regions of Armenia. Awareness-raising work will cover all areas of the Tax Code: basic provisions, rules for the regulation of certain taxes, administrative procedures.
