HSBC Bank Armenia and FAR prepared New Year presents for children  from border villages

ArmInfo. 400 employees of  HSBC Bank Armenia together with the Assistance Foundation of Armenia  prepared gifts, which the children of Tavush region asked in their  letters to Santa Claus.

As the press service of the Bank told ArmInfo, HSBC Bank Armenia  employees sent 400 toys and other gifts to 8 border communities -  Verin Tsakhkavan, Chinchin, Navur, Tavush, Verin Karmrakhbury,  Norashen, Artsvaberd, Aigedzor, on the eve of the New Year.

According to the source, "Santa Claus" prepared gifts for those  children who are preparing to go to the first grade in the coming  year. In addition to toys, the bank employees provided all  five-year-olds with school backpacks and office supplies.

“HSBC has been involved in sustainability projects throughout its history. The Toy Drive is only one example of the support that our team readily provides to the local communities. Hope we were able to bring some New Year  joy to the kids of Tavush region,” Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bank Armenia Paul Edgar noted.

The initiative of Toy Drive HSBC Bank Armenia has been implemented  since 2007 within the framework of the "Youth Opportunity" program.  To implement this initiative, from 2016 to 2018, the Bank sent about  $ 9 million to companies engaged in charity to help vulnerable young  people.
