ArmInfo. Revenues of communication sphere of Armenia in January-November 2017 amounted to 132.5 billion drams, declining by 4.7% year-on-year (against a decline of 8.7% a year earlier). According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the telecommunications segment, dominating in the communications sector (94%), provided revenue of 124.4 billion drams, cutting it by 5.5% per annum (against a decline of 8.7% a year earlier).
According to statistical data, only for November 2017g. The total revenue of the communication sector decreased by 4.3% to 12.1 billion drams. Moreover, the telecommunications segment provided revenue of 11.1 billion drams, reducing it for the reporting month by 6.1%. On an annual basis (November 2017 by November 2016), communications revenue declined by 0.6%, with a 2.2% decline recorded in the telecommunications segment.
As a comparison, we note that in January-November 2016, the revenue of Armenia's communications sector amounted to 139.1 billion drams, of which 131.7 billion drams were allocated to the telecommunications segment.
