ArmInfo. Russia increased natural gas deliveries to Armenia in 2017 by 6.9% per annum to 1996041 thousand cubic meters, with growth in value terms by 3.7% to $ 299.4 million. Natural gas deliveries from Iran increased by 4.9% to 385,241.6 thousand cubic meters, with a decrease in value by 1.2% to $ 57.7 million.
As a result, according to the data of the Customs Service of Armenia, for the year 2017 2,381,282.6 thousand cubic meters were imported natural gas (with an annual growth of 6.6%), with a total value of $ 357.2 million (with an annual growth of 2.9%).
According to the source, deliveries of liquefied gas in the annual section increased by 51.6% to 6 145.7 tons, with an increase in customs value by 52.5% to $ 2.3 million. In particular, from Russia, the import of liquefied gas increased by 62.7% to 5 623.2 tons, while the cost grew by 66.6% to $ 2.1 million, and from Iraq - by 84.7% to 435.5 tons, while the cost grew by 73.6% to $ 191.3 thousand. Meanwhile, the import of liquefied gas from Iran, on the contrary, decreased by 76% to 86.7 tons, with the decline in customs value by 79.7% to 31.2 thousand.
