ArmInfo. The 52nd plenary meeting of the General Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) will take place on November 27 in the Armenian capital.
According to the report of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, received by ArmInfo, the meeting will open on November 27 at 09:30am in the Hrazdan hotel. President of the National Assembly Ara Babloyan will open the session with a speech. The meeting will continue at 10:00am on 28 November.
To note, during the meeting of the General Assembly, it is planned to hold a general discussion on the topic "The role of parliaments in regional economic development". In addition, issues of development and support of small businesses, the role of trade unions in strengthening economic cooperation, as well as prospects for the development of tourism in the BSEC member states will be discussed. The events will include the election of the Deputy Chairman of the PABSEC on financial issues, as well as the election of the Deputy General Secretary of the PABSEC on administrative and financial issues and the Deputy General Secretary of the PABSEC on inter-parliamentary relations and protocol. The Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation was established in 1993. Today, it includes representatives of the parliaments of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine
