ArmInfo. The member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union have a lot to learn from Armenia and Armenian entrepreneurs. This was announced on January 28 by Tatiana Valovaya, member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, summing up the results of 2018.
Responding to a question from a Kyrgyz journalist about why the EAEU member countries, and in particular Kyrgyzstan, despite the country's joining the integration union, continue to largely import goods, rather than export, as was expected earlier, she cited the example of Armenia. According to Valovaya, despite the difficult geopolitical situation and a certain isolation of the republic, Armenian entrepreneurs, overcoming difficulties and obstacles, after the country's entry into the EAEU, intensified efforts and vigorously promote their products on the Eurasian market. "In this regard, of course, we have a lot to learn from our Armenian colleagues, because they make the most of all the opportunities provided by the Eurasian Economic Union," explained Valovaya.
