ArmInfo.Former Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan is nominated for the list of candidates for the board of directors of "Zarubezhneft". The government of the Russian Federation approved a list of seven candidates to the board of directors of "Zarubezhneft", all of which are included in the current composition. The corresponding order of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 9 is posted on the official Internet portal of legal information.
In particular, former Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan, First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Texler Alexey, current Chairman of the Board of Directors Evgeni Murov, Director of the Ministry of Energy Department Alexander Gladkov, Head of "Zarubezhneft" Sergey Kudryashov, former Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maxim Sokolov and Head Russian Energy Agency Anatoly Tikhonov.
"Zarubezhneft" is a diversified oil and gas holding whose only shareholder is the Russian Federation. In Russia, "Zarubezhneft" owns 13 licenses for geological exploration, exploration and production of hydrocarbons, and participates in the development of the Kharyaginsky field under a production sharing agreement. In addition, the company conducts mining operations on the Vietnamese shelf, both within the framework of the joint venture "Vietsovpetro", its main production asset, and independently.
