ArmInfo. According to the data of the Customs Service, the supply of liquefied gas to Armenia increased 2.1-fold on an annualized basis (against growth by 74.9% a year earlier) to 20,463.1 tons, with an increase in customs value by 77.5% to $ 7.5 million.
In particular, imports of liquefied gas from Russia, mainly used as automobile fuel, increased 3.7-fold to 17,512.4 tons, with a rise in cost 3.2-fold to $ 6.3 million. During the reporting period, Armenia increased its imports of liquefied gas from Iran 12-fold - up to 2.1 thousand tons worth $ 972.1 thousand. At the same time, the volumes of liquefied gas supplies from Iraq decreased by 83.2% (against an increase of 2.4-fold a year earlier) to 800.6 tons, while the cost fell by 86% to $ 309.5 thousand.
According to the data provided to ArmInfo, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia, for 8 months of 2020, within the framework of the new indicative balance, the republic received 163.9 thousand tons of motor gasoline (completely from the Russian Federation). In addition, 142.9 thousand tons of diesel fuel (of which 90.9 thousand tons are from the Russian Federation), 18.9 thousand tons of jet fuel (from other countries), as well as 1.3 thousand tons of paraffin (from other countries).
