UNIStream introduces 1% tariff for any sum
ArmInfo. June 1 2010 UNIStream will introduce a new 1% tariff for any sum to be transferred from Russia to Armenia and vise versa during the summer.
The action will last till Aug 30 2010 but may be prolonged for the rest of the year.
The press service of Unibank reports that the tariff will be effective in all offices of Russian Uniastrum and Unistream banks.
"We have thoroughly analyzed the CIS and Armenian markets. We realize that the success of our system depends on the convenience and attractiveness of its options. By offering such a convenient tariff we hope to seriously increase our clientele," says Director General of UNIStream Suren Hayrikyan.
The tariff is expected to seriously stimulate the market as it will show people that UNIStream can be efficient and cheap at one and the same time. There is also an option of 0% tariff for transfers in AMD.
In Jan-Mar 2010 UNIStream increased the amount of its money transfers by 6.7%. The number of transactions totalled 135,000 against 127,000 in Jan-Mar 2009. The turnover of the system in Armenia grew by 2.1% to $91.2mln. UNIStream covers 190,000 service points in 95 countries.
