Commerzbank hands award to Ameriabank for excellent quality of international settlements
ArmInfo. Over the first half-year of 2010, Ameriabank ensured 59.9% growth in international transfers as compared with the same period of 2009. In 2009 this index grew by 49.82% as compared with 2008, the Ameriabank's press service told ArmInfo.
The source said that on July 27 at the head office of the bank the representative of the German Commerzbank handed award to Ameriabank's leadership for excellent quality of work in the field of international settlements. Commerzbank annually hands this award to its best partners in different countries.
According to the source, cooperating with the correspondent banks, Ameriabank carries out international transfers via Straight Through Processing (STP) excluding the human factor, thanks to which the transfers are carried out at the maximal speed. To determine the level of STP application, international practice uses a special indicator showing the ratio of automatically processed data in the total volume of inserted data. Over 2009 Ameriabank's STP index of international transfers for its clients made up 99.59%.
To note, the majority shareholder of Ameriabank is TDA Holdings Limited (99.99%) affiliated with the Russian investment company Troika Dialog.
