Single treasury account at Armenian Finance Ministry has 95.4 bln AMD

As of 18 Feb 2011, the single treasury account at the Armenian Finance Ministry of Armenia has 95.4 bln AMD, including time deposits in the Central Bank of Armenia, 25.697 bln AMD being budget funds, 41.495 bln - funds of the stabilization deposit account of the government, the press service of the Finance Ministry told ArmInfo
The rest of the amount is the remainders of municipal budgets and extra-budgetary funds of state establishments. "It is clear from the above-mentioned that the information about insufficiency of budget remainders is ungrounded", the source says.
As regards the published information that Armenia's teachers have not yet received the salaries for January, the Finance Ministry points out that the Finance Ministry satisfied all the applications in both 2011 and previous years completely. In particular, as of 18 Feb, the quarterly plan of financing of preschool and elementary education was fulfilled by 42%, secondary education - by 39%. According to the Finance Ministry, within the next 2-3 working days the rest of applications for education financing will be received, and over that period the education financing will be completed.
