ProCredit Bank already serves the Customers in Arabkir Community
ArmInfo. Today ProCredit Bank is celebrating its new "Komitas" branch opening ceremony. The branch is located in 39 Komitas avenue and was officially registered by the Central Bank on June 21, 2011.
Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Nerses Yeritsyan said at the ribbon-cutting ceremony that with the launch of the branch the Bank has introduced in the country's banking system the culture it disseminates in all countries where develops its activities.
"Despite the short history of work in Armenia, ProCredit Bank already has interesting parameters: the total assets of the bank have increased by over 50%, provision of crediting – by over 60%, and this is quite a healthy credit portfolio, which demonstrates the professionalism of the Bank, developed corporate management, high culture of customer service", he stressed.
German Ambassador to Armenia Hans-Johan Schmidt stressed the significance of the strong shareholders ProCredit Bank in the person of ProCredit Holdings, KfW and EBRD.
He also pointed out the importance of presence of ProCredit Bank in the regions of Armenia from the viewpoint of agriculture crediting.
ProCredit Bank CEO Asmus Rotne said that this is the 7th in Yerevan out of 10 ProCredit Bank branches in Armenia. It will provide full range of banking services both to legal entities and individuals focusing on different types of SME financing solutions and savings alternatives for private individuals. "In addition, during the first month of branch operation all the customers will be nicely surprised with waved fees on accounts opening", he said.
With the launch of this branch the Bank once again highlights its main strategy to be the house bank for Small & Medium businesses and people in the neighborhood.
