CB: In 2013 net inflow of private money transfers into Armenia will grow by 8-10%

ArmInfo. In 2013 the net inflow of private money transfers into Armenia will grow by 8-10%, says the Central Bank of Armenia.

Its earlier forecast was 9-11% growth.

The key reason why the CB has changed its forecast is that the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development has reduced its economic growth outlook for Russia from 4.1% to 3.8%.

In Jan-Sept 2012 the net inflow of private money transfers into Armenia made up $982.9mln (9% more than in Jan-Sept 2011). 91.5% of the transfers came from Russia.
