Idram (Armenia) and Yandex.Dengi (Russia) launch a service on money transfers to Armenia
ArmInfo. Idram (Armenia) and Yandex.Dengi (Russia) have lunched a service on money transfers to Armenia. Starting from April 1, the users have an opportunity to remit the funds from the wallets in Yandex.Dengi to the accounts in Idram, MoneyNews reports.
To transfer the money, the users only need to specify the amount in Russian rubles and the account number in Idram and then to confirm the operation. The money is automatically converted into Armenian drams and will get to the recipient's wallet within minutes. The fee (3% + 15 rubles) is levied from the sender.
To recall, Yandex.Dengi allows transferring money to Armenia by other methods as well, particularly, to the bankcards and accounts. The fee will be the same as in the case of transfers to Idram, but the speed will depend on the recipient bank. These methods are available to the identified users of Yandex.Dengi only.
"Idram" LLC - the operator of "Idram" payment system, was founded on May 8 of 2008. The company was licensed by the Central Bank of Armenia on the 29th of December, 2009 ("License for the realization of money transfers N13"). Idram LLC is the first in Armenia to receive a permission to issue electronic money from the Central Bank on the 6th of March, 2012. The company's goal is to develop capabilities of money transfers in the Internet environment. At the moment, there are over 120,000 e-accounts in the system.
