ArmInfo. ARARATBANK was recognized as the best Armenian finance trade provider in 2015 according to Global Finance authoritative magazine. As a result this is already the third organization after Commerzbank and EBRD, which names ARARATBANK as the best finance trade bank of Armenia.
Criteria for choosing the winners included: transaction volume, scope of global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies.
Global Finance magazine has named the 16th annual World's Best Trade Finance Providers in 9 regions, 84 countries and globally. The honorees were revealed at an awards luncheon at the BAFT Global Annual Meeting in Paris today.
To note, Global Finance, founded in 1987, has a circulation of 50,050 and readers in 180 countries. Global Finance's audience includes senior corporate and financial officers responsible for making investment and strategic decisions at multinational companies and financial institutions. Global Finance also targets the 8,000 international portfolio investors responsible for more than 80% of all global assets under professional management.
According to the Financial Rating of Armenian Banks prepared by ArmInfo News Agency, ARARATBANK'S assets totaled 132.6 bln AMD as of January 1, 2016. In the structure of assets, the credit exposures and other loans made up 66.1 bln AMD. The Bank's total liabilities amounted to 110.2 bln AMD, from which time deposits and call liabilities totaled 57.6 bln. The total capital reached 22.5 bln AMD as of January 1, 2016, from which accumulated profit amounted to 12.9 bln AMD and registered fund-7.3 bln AMD. At year-end 2015 ARARATBANK's balance profit totaled 1.3 bln AMD.
