ArmInfo. In Jan-Apr 2016 versus Jan-Apr 2015, ferromolybdenum output in Armenia declined by 15.8% to 1,812 tons versus 3.7% growth a year before. According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, in April 2016 the ferromolybdenum output made up 462 tons, 6.8% less than in March.
In Jan-Apr 2016, the output of molybdenum concentrate dropped by 13.3% to 3,293 tons (in April alone the output dropped by 7.8% to 806 tons); blister copper grew by 29.2% to 4,279 tons versus 2.3% drop a year before; copper concentrate was up 30% to 124.8 thsd tons versus 50% rise a year before.
In Jan-Apr 2016, the output of aluminum foil dropped by 5.5% versus Jan-Apr 2015 and totaled 9,889 tons (up 6.3% to 2682 tons in April 2016 alone); the output of steel pipes fell by 50.3% to 1,737 tons (up 14% to 663 tons in April 2016 alone); zinc concentrate declined by 54.1% to 2,132 tons (down 28.5% to 431 tons in April alone).
All metals manufactured in Armenia are exported mostly to Europe and the United States.
