Armenia officially bans import of Ukrainian chicken

ArmInfo. The State Food Safety Service of Armenia has officially banned the import of 19,480 kg of Ukrainian refrigerated chicken due to its incompliance with food safety standards.

The Service has sent the refrigerated chicken imported by Donmal LLC from Ukraine for expert examination, which revealed that by Mesophilic Aerobic and Facultative Anaerobic Microorganisms the product failed to meet the requirements of technical regulations "On Food Safety" of the Eurasian Economic Union. 

So, the State Food Safety Service has banned the import of this product to Armenia. It has also instructed the economic entity to re-export the product, the press office of the State Service reports.
