ArmInfo. Agriculture Minister of Armenia Sergo Karapetyan received Kazakh Ambassador to Armenia Timur Urazayev on August 10.
According to the Ministry press-office, the Armenian minister expressed hope for intensification of the cooperation in the field of agriculture.
"The cooperation capacities in the field of agriculture are not used at full. It is necessary to intensify the combined efforts," the minister said adding the Armenia's Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) members has created favorable conditions for dynamic development and expansion of the export of the local production to the EAEU countries.
The sides discussed the commodity turnover of the two countries as well as possibilities of creating joint ventures to boost export of processed food to the EAEU countries.
Expressing his readiness to promote the establishment of business contacts of the Armenian and Kazakh enterprises, Sergo Karapetyan suggested organizing an agricultural business forum to introduce local products to the Kazakhbusinesspersons.
Ambassador Urazayev, in turn, assured the minister that he will exert genuine efforts to enhance the two countries relations.
