The deputy minister explained the growth of export indicators with a number of factors, especially stressing the facilitation of the procedure of entry of Armenian goods into the Eurasian market. Harutyunyan pointed out that the Ministry is also going to increase the output of the processing industry.
The deputy minister said that in the framework of cooperation between the Armenian Ministry of Agriculture and the EEU, 12 working groups have been set up. They carry out their activities through video conferences. At the same time, negotiations are being held to set up exchanges of agricultural products in order to enhance the efficiency and the competitiveness of the EEU member states' agrarian sectors.
One more positive factor of Armenia's EEU membership is the country's involvement in the process of signing of free trade agreements with the third countries, including Vietnam, Israel, Iran, China, India, etc.
