ArmInfo. ARMENAL Yerevan foil-rolling plant has utilized the output of aluminum foil for food container manufacture. This type of production is highly in demand on the world market, according to the company's press-office.
The samples of aluminum foil for food containers was approved by consumers and the customers have been supplied with the first production lots.
ARMENAL will increase the monthly output of the new product to 400 tons and in 2017 to 600 tons. U.S. is the key sales market of the given production. As part of the development strategy, the Plant will launch a second production line for the aluminum foil for container manufacture next year, says Vyacheslav Sinelnikov, ARMENAL CEO.
ARMENAL foil rolling mill was founded in May 2000 as part of the Kanaker aluminum smelter. It is one of the biggest production facilities in Armenia and is the only producer of aluminum foil in the Caucasus and Central Asian regions. Together with two other foil mills, Sayanal in the Russian republic of Khakasia and Urals Foil, ARMENAL forms the company's Packaging Division.
