ArmInfo. The Customs Service and banks of Armenia will operate without days off during New Year holidays. Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan gave relevant instructions to Head of the Armenian State Revenue Committee Vardan Harutyunyan and Central Bank Chairman Arthur Javadyan on December 8.     

Head of the State Revenue Committee Vardan Harutyunyan is to ensure uninterrupted services by the economic entities during the New Year holidays. The Prime Minister thinks that this will allow realizing the existing opportunities, as well as both the weak sides and the necessary steps to remove them. CBA Chairman Arthur Javadyan is to ensure the banks' activities on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on holidays. 

At present there are 19 banks, 33 credit companies and 6 insurance companies in Armenia.
