At the same time Nazaruk stated he is not satisfied with the current level of turnover between Belarus and Armenia. According to the Head of Belarusian diplomatic mission in Armenia, the figure of USD 35 mln does not fully reflect the existing potential of trade-economic cooperation . The Ambassador mentioned that Belarus is well known with its agricultural equipment, wood makes, foodstuff. Next, Belarusian consumer knows well about Armenia brandy, juices, jams, the export of jewelry also increased essentially. According to Nazaruk, in this context the current level of trade between Armenia and Belarus never could be considered acceptable.
Following the Ambassador of Belarus, to reach the desirable level of economic cooperation, parties should get to development of long term projects on trade-economic cooperation. "We are ready to take all the steps necessary to increase the volumes of trade'" Nazaruk ensured.
Among the prospective aspects of the cooperation Nazaruk stated the Iranian agreement, because Armeniais the only country of EEU having a common border with IRI. "Iran is released from sanctions of a number of countries and entities and that is why the potential of this country is pretty high," he stated. According to the national Statistics Service information, the foreign tradeover between Armenia and Belarus for January- October 2016 forms USD 3,4 mln with 14% growth. At that Armenian export to Belarus formed USD 13,6 mln, increasing in 2,3 times versus that for the same period of last year. During the period reported Belarusian export to Armenia dropped down for 23,7% and formed USD 20,8 mln.
