ArmInfo. Minister of Transport,  Communications and IT of Armenia Vahan Martirosyan received Head of  Philips Lighting for Caucasus and Middle Asia Andrey Zakharkin,  Regional Manager for Business Development Alexander Tryasunov and  representatives of "Consel" company, which is the official importer  of the company's products to Armenia. 

The press service of the Ministry has told ArmInfo that Martirosyan  welcomed the guests and highlighted successful experience of  cooperation with Philips Lighting in the field of lighting certain  parts of the North -South road. Zakharkin in turn expressed hope that  the cooperation will continue. The Minister of Transport attached  importance to further cooperation, asked about the areas of the  company's work, particularly in the IT field and use of solar power  for ensuring outdoor lighting. Zakharkin presented in details the  company's activities in the abovementioned fields. The Minister was  presented a new project, according to which lighting of "Nor Hachn"  bridge will be implemented at the expense of the company's own funds  using modern, energy efficient, high quality lamps. 

During the meeting the sides discussed issues of ensuring lighting of  tunnels, involvement of the company in the implementation of "Smart  City" project, as well as other issues of cooperation. 

To note Philips Lighting is the leader on the world market having  wide experience of development, production and appliance of  innovative lighting solutions.
