ArmInfo. On February 8, the Minister of Agriculture Ignati Araqelyan and the PUM Netherlands senior experts to Armenia Coordinator Albert Westerings discussed the issues of enlargement of cooperation in the given sector.
As the Ministry's press-service told ArmInfo, according to the Minister, highly qualified personnel is needed for the further development of the agriculture. Araqelyan hopes that the organization will support the retraining of Armenian specialists
PUM Netherlands senior experts, is a Fund funded by the Netherlands' Government, which hold experience and knowledge exchanges between the businessmen around the world More than 30 years. The Fund supports the MA on volunteer bases and hold short-term consulting. Taking to consideration the successful experience of Netherlands in the sector of agriculture, the Minister offered to develop the cooperation in the field of beekeeping.
In his turn, Albert Westerings noted that the sector is in the center of the Fund's interest and expressed readiness to support the organization if seminars.
The sides discussed the increase of the representation of Armenian products on foreign markets, the prospects for raising the competitiveness of local products and successful marketing in the field.
