ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee of Armenia has suppressed an attempt of medicine smuggling to Armenia.
The press office of the Committee has told ArmInfo that the internal security department of the State Revenue Committee says that on 14 Feb 2017 the Committee employees inspected a Russia-Armenia passenger bus on the Bagratashen checkpoint. Nearly 40kg of various types of medicine, which had undergone no customs control, was taken out of the hiding place mounted in the bus. The damage inflicted to the state is being estimated and the files will be sent to the relevant division of the State Revenue Committee.
