ArmInfo. Japanese Government will allocate a grant to Armenia in order to build a system of irrigation sewage disposal in Arapi Shirak region of the Republic.
The relevant agreement was signed on March 14 between the Head of the Community Arapi Albert Ayvazyan and Japan Ambassador to Armenia Eiji Taguchi. According to the statement of the press-services of Emergencies Ministry of Armenia, the project "will be done within the framework of Japanese Government funded program. According to the agreement, ,the system of irrigation sewage disposal will be built in Arapi community suffering from landslides. The system will allow to delete ground flows, which in his turn will prevent the danger of rising new land slides centers. Earlier in the community of the Ministry of Emergencies of Armenia have been done works on stabilization of land slide risks. To note, simultaneously with the program "Gras Rud" the Ministry of Emergencies of Armenia and Japan Government implemented a program Management Tandslide T ragedy within which investigations and inventories have been done of all the active land slides of the Republic.
