ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan visited Natfood meat processing factory on March 14.
The press office of the Government has told ArmInfo that the Prime Minister familiarized himself with the production process, the range of products, the sanitary and hygienic system, as well as with the development programs.
Karapetyan was informed that the processing departments, as well as the veterinary, bacteriological, physical and chemical laboratories are equipped with up-to-date machinery and advanced technologies. The factory has a FSSC 22000 Food Safety System Certificate and it is in the lead in the region. The factory capacity is up to 40 tons per day, the assortment includes nearly 160 items, and there are 180 jobs at the factory. The company will shortly offer an enlarged range of products to the market.
The Prime Minister praised the company's activities and stressed the importance of the steps aimed at enhancing the quality control and expanding the programs.
