ArmInfo. In Jan-Feb 2017 the extent of Armenian industrial production at the same period of 2016 increased by 16.1%( versus 9.9% growth a year ago), totaling 228.4 bln AMD ($469.7mln). Only for February the field registered growth from 10.5% to 120.3 bln AMD ($ 247.3mln). According to the Armenian National Statistic Service data, the growth of industrial sector is based on improvement of movement producing industries at the background of saved growth of mining sector.
In Jan-Feb 2017, at the same time in 2016 mining industry and producing of open pits was registered growth by 8% (versus 41.5& growth a year ago) to 46.98 bln AMD. And only in February mining industry increased from 2.6% to 24.4 bln AMD. The extent of producing industry in Jan-Feb 2017 grew by annual calculation from 23.3%( versus 4.7% decrease a year ago) to 122.5 bln AMD, by monthly growth from 28.7% to 68.9 bln AMD.
At that, in producing industry for reporting period the extents of machine production and equipments measurably dropped by 38%, rubber and plastic items by 6.3% and furniture by 1.9%. At that, efficient growth was registered in the jewelry industry by 3.7 times, electro equipments by 3.3 times, ready metal items by 76/4%, computers, electronic and optic equipments by 72.4%, polygraph activity and typing registered information owners by 56.5% and textile by 51.2%. In producing industry on the extent of the production lead food products (37 bln AMD), main metals (26.3 bln), cigarettes (20.2 bln), beverage (17.5 bln AMD).
According to the National Statistic data, the delivery of energetic power, gas, vapor and air-condition totally grew in Jan-Feb 2017 at the same period of 2016 by 9%(versus 21.2% growth a year ago) to 55.1 bln AMD at the background of monthly decrease by 15.6% to 25.1 bln AMD. At that, the manufacture, delivery and distribution of energetic power by annual view grew by 1.7%, when the production of gas, delivery of gasiform fuels grew by 30% via systems of gas-supply.
The incomes from water-supply, cleaning and managing waste and receiving recoverable materials for reported period grew by 5.3% annual(versus 10% growth a year ago) to 3.8 bln AMD. Monthly this segment showed the decrease by 1.9% to 1.9 bln AMD. AT that the rising annual dynamic in this segment based gathering, producing and receiving water (growth by 3.5%). To note, the extent of industry production in Armenia 2016 grew by 6.7%(versus 5.2% growth in 2015), totaling 1.429 trillion AMD ($2.9 bln). Slow speed up of the growth temps was based on immediate slowing of bullish trend of mining sector, from 50.4% in 2015 to 8.3% in 2016, and 256.4 bln AMD, by improvement of the dynamic of producing industry with come up from 5.6% decrease to 7.7% growth from 885 bln AMD.
