In Armenia the economic activity in  Q I of 2017 increased for 6,6%  annual and the key drivers were the industrial sector and the trade

ArmInfo. In January-March 2017  the economic activities in  Armenia grew for 6,6% versus  January-March of 2016. According to the preliminary data of the  national Statistics Service of Armenia, in the framework of economic  activity the dropdown continues in respect to construction sector -  this time for 13,6%, within which the agricultural sector faced the  dropdown for 1,5%. 

The other sectors show growth, and the highest indicator is  that of  industrial sector  (16,1%), and trade (11,3%), and a bit lower in  services sector (10%), and energy complex (9,3%).

A year ago, in  January-March 2016 versus January-March 2015 the  economic activity increased for 5,5 %, within the 26,3% growth of  export and 15% dropdown of import. At that time the dropdown was  fixed in the sector of trade ( - 1,1%), and construction sector  (-2,2%), while the industrial sector showed growth for 8,9% and the  service sector showed the same for 9,6%, energy framework grew for 5%  and agricultural - for 3,3 %.
