In the list of the largest taxpayers of Armenia among telecoms operators, Armenia Telephone Company (BeeLine trademark) leads in the first quarter of 2017, having deducted 2.2 billion AMD to the budget through taxes, of which 297.9 million AMD - on customs duties, 832.04 million - On direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax) and 877.2 million on indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax). In the same list of 1000 largest taxpayers, "Armenia Telephone Company" occupies the 11th position, against the 5th a year earlier.
According to the published data of the Armenian State Revenue Committee, the four telecom operators paid 5.4 billion AMD to the budget through the taxes in the first quarter of 2017, of which 2.1 billion - in direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax ) And 1.8 billion - on indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).
The second place belongs to "Telecom" (VivaCell-MTS trademark), which paid 1.8 billion AMD to the state treasury in the first quarter of 2017, of which 51.5 million AMD - on customs duties, 729.8 million AMD - on direct taxes (in vol. H. Profit tax, income tax), 729.98 million AMD - on indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax). In general, the list of 1000 largest taxpayers "K Telecom" is the 14th position, against the 12th a year earlier.
On the third place, UCom, which paid 1.2 billion AMD to the budget on taxes, out of which 147.1 million - on customs duties, 442.6 million - on direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax) and 169.4 million - on indirect Taxes (including VAT, excise tax), ranked 20th in the general list of 1000 largest taxpayers, compared to 51st a year earlier.
In the fourth place, JNC Alfa (a trademark of Rostelecom), paid 160.4 million to the budget for taxes, 44.2 million of which came from customs duties, 105.5 million from direct taxes (including profit tax, Income) and 39.9 million - indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax), ranked 186th in the overall list of 1000 largest taxpayers, compared with 135th a year earlier.
From the current list of telecom operators, Orange Armenia, which merged with UCom, took the 31st place in the list of 1000 largest taxpayers.
To note, in the first quarter of 2016, five telecom operators paid 6.8bln AMD (or 6.1bln AMD without taking into account the data of "Orange Armenia") to the budget in the total amount of taxes, out of which 3.4 bln came from the share of "Armenia Telephone Company" (Trade name BeeLine).
