ArmInfo. Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan met business delegation from St. Petersburg to discuss prospects for cooperation on May 29.
As the press service of the Ministry of Economy told ArmInfo, the visit was initiated and organized by the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg. The delegation included representatives of the companies "Vozrozhdenie", "Petersburg Tractor Plant", "Geropharm", "Agropolis" and several others.
The parties discussed prospects for establishing a joint organization for import and export.
The Armenian Minister presented the advantages of carrying out activities in the Free Economic Zone, as well as the preferential trade regimes provided to Armenia. According to Karayan, the state is ready to assist investors in providing the necessary information and a number of other issues.
The Armenian minister discussed the possibilities of interaction with each representative of the company, concrete agreements were reached for their further implementation.
To note, in early May of this year the governor of St. Petersburg came to Yerevan, who also expressed interest in developing cooperation in all possible spheres.
