Revenue of Armenia`s communication sector in first half of 2017  accelerated rate of annual decline from 6.4% to 6.7%

ArmInfo. Revenues of Armenia's  communication sphere in the first half of 2017 Amounted to 70.2  billion AMD, declining by 6.7% year-on-year, against a decline of  6.4% a year earlier. According to the National Statistical Service of  Armenia, the telecommunications sector accounted for the lion's share  from the total volume of revenues received - 93.8% or 65.9 billion  with an annual decline of 7.7% (against the decline of 6.2% a year  earlier).

According to statistical data, only for June 2017 the total revenue  of the communication sector was 12.3 billion AMD, an increase of  0.7%. At the same time, the telecommunications sphere provided  revenues of 11.5 billion AMD for June, with annual growth of only 1%.

As a comparison, in the first half of 2016, The revenue of Armenia's  communication sector made up 75.3 billion AMD. Of this volume, 71.4  billion fell on the telecommunications sector.
