SDCA: The volume of air transportation in Armenia in January-August 2017 increased by 25.4%.

ArmInfo. In January-August 2017, 1,667,173  people used the services of two airports in Armenia, which exceeds the figures for the same period in 2016 by 25.4%.According to the press service of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Armenia (GUMA), in both airports of Armenia for the reporting period the passenger traffic was 293 317 people or by 14.9% of last year's indicator.

Through Yerevan airport in August this year, 281 345 passengers were transported, which is 10.2% higher than last August. In all, the growth of passenger air transportation in January-August this year. through "Zvartnots" was equal to 21.9%. Through the main harbor of the country during the reporting period, 14,985 tons of cargo were transported, which is 54% higher than in the same period last year. In August 2017, 11,972 passengers used the services of the Gyumri airport "Shirak". In general, in January-August this year. the passenger traffic through the Gyumri airport was 56 243 people, in August 2016 7 065 passengers.At the airports "Zvartnots" and "Gyumri", according to the data of the State Archives, during the reporting period, the number of take-offs and landings increased by 22.1%.
