ArmInfo. The Armenian Development Fund (DFA) has appointed its official representatives in the US and Ukraine.
According to the press service of the Foundation, the relevant memoranda are concluded in the DFA. According to Avak Avakyan, executive director, there are great expectations from cooperation with two new representatives. "Both owners of large transport organizations, ready to deliver cargo at preferential prices or even at cost, are important for us, since transportation significantly increases the price of Armenian goods," the head of the DFA said.
To note, a member of the board of the Armenian-American business council and the founder of the company Global USA Mikael Hayrapetyan was appointed an official representative of the DFA in California. The company has licenses for the organization of air, sea and land transportation in the United States and on the principle of "single window" provides all services for export and import. "Our specialists are ready to help in entering the American market," Hayrapetyan assured.
The official representative of the DFA in Ukraine was the chairman of the "Armenian Initiative" charity fund Hayk Aghvanyan. The company Continental Service, which he manages, also deals with cargo transportation. "We already have preliminary calculations, started negotiations with wholesalers about purchases. Ukrainian partners are interested in Armenian products, canned goods, fruits, light industry products, "the newly appointed representative of the DFA in Ukraine said, noting the desire to get the work of young Armenians of Ukraine to promote Armenian goods in the regions.
