A working group will study the possibilities of implementing joint programs in the field of agriculture in Armenia and Georgia

ArmInfo. Minister of Agriculture of Armenia Ignaty Arakelyan received a delegation headed by the Minister of Agriculture of Georgia Levan Davitashvili on October 13.  The Georgian Minister arrived in Armenia at the invitation of Arakelyan with the purpose of participating in the annual specialized agro-exhibition "Armprodexpo".

As the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Armenia reports, Ignaty Arakelyan noted the importance of strengthening ties between countries and stimulating interaction. He also noted the need to implement joint programs.

The Ministers stressed the importance of exchanging experience and information in the field of introducing the system of agricultural insurance, animal husbandry and the creation of intensive gardens.

An agreement to study the possibilities of implementing joint programs and identifying promising areas of cooperation within the working group was reached.

Today the exhibition complex "Yerevan Expo" a specialized exhibition "ArmProdExpo" was opened, which is attended by companies processing agricultural products from Armenia and Karabakh - about 110 companies.
