ArmInfo. The Armenian delegation headed by Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan will leave for Tashkent this afternoon, where he will take part in the meeting of CIS heads of government. ArmInfo was informed about this in the press service of the Armenian government.
According to the source, the agenda of the council includes about two dozen issues related to the cooperation of the CIS countries in the economic and industrial spheres. Note that the capital of Uzbekistan - Tashkent on November 3 will first take a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government.
Prime Ministers of Armenia - Karen Karapetyan, Belarus - Andrei Kobyakov, Kazakhstan - Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Kyrgyzstan - Sapar Isakov, Russia - Dmitry Medvedev, Tajikistan - Kohir Rasulzoda, as well as Chairman of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev confirmed their participation. Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan will be represented at the level of deputy prime ministers, Moldova - plenipotentiary representative of the statutory and other bodies of the CIS.
It is expected that the heads of the delegations of the CIS member states will be received by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The agenda of the meeting includes drafts of 18 documents. In a narrow format, it is planned to exchange views on topical issues of cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth. At the enlarged meeting, the issues of trade and economic cooperation of the CIS countries will be discussed, including within the free trade zone, development of oil and gas engineering, land reclamation and control over the customs value of goods. Within the framework of the meeting, a number of bilateral meetings of the delegations of the CIS member states will be held.
