The flow of passengers through two airports in Armenia for 10 months  of 2017 increased by 22.7%

ArmInfo. The flow of  passengers through two Armenian airports - Zvartnots in Yerevan and  Shirak in Gyumri - increased by 22.7% over the 10 months of 2017.   This is evidenced by the data of the General Department of Civil  Aviation of Armenia, given to ArmInfo.

For the given  period, the source notes, 2.154.092 passengers were  transported. In this case, only in October this year. The services of  both airports were used by 231.909 people, which is 12.5% higher than  the same period of 2016. In October 2017, the passenger traffic  through the Yerevan Zvartnots airport was 220,726, which is 7.4%  higher than the previous year's figure. In January-October 2017,  compared to the same period in 2016, the flow of passengers through  the capital airport increased by 18.8%.

Also increased through the airport "Zvartnots" and the volume of  freight traffic, which for the reporting period amounted to 18910  tons of cargo, which is 42.2% higher than the same indicators in  2016.

In October 2017, 11 183 passengers used the services of Gyumri  airport "Shirak" against 624 passengers for the same period of 2016.  In January-October 2017, 77072 people were transported through the  airport "Shirak" against 7689 people a year earlier.  The number of  flights and landings at both airports over the reporting period grew  by 19.2%.
