ArmInfo. On December 22, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank Andrei Belyaninov, the press service of the Armenian leader said.

Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the interlocutor on assuming the post of EDB chairman, expressed his conviction that Andrei Belyaninov, who has extensive experience in the state system and in the private sector, will direct his efforts to strengthening the role of the bank in the Eurasian space, implementing new programs development of the member states of the EDB.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to deepening the relations between Armenia and the EDB, attracting investments and prospects for the development of the bank.

Noting that during his visit to Armenia he met with the RA Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, Andrei Belyaninov stressed that he was informed about the impressive pace of development of Armenia. He stated the readiness of the bank to expand its activities in Armenia even more.
