ArmInfo. More than 4,700 farmers who participated in the seminars as part of the program of state subsidization of interest rates for agricultural loans were awarded certificates that provided an opportunity to use loans for the development of their farms. This was announced during the final press conference on December 27 by the Executive Director of the Agricultural Development Fund Gegham Gevorgyan, noting that 204 seminars had been held since the beginning of the stratum of the program. "To implement the program, we attracted various partners, including financial structures. In particular, ACBA Credit-Agricole specialists of the Bank were involved, who conducted a free course aimed at increasing the financial literacy of farmers, CARD-Agrocredit, who introduced them to the basics of veterinary medicine, "he said. The most active, according to Gevorgyan, were farmers of the Aragatston region-1,020 participants and 33 seminars, and Ararat oblast - 802 farmers and 29 seminars.  In addition, the Development Fund  agriculture itself held 40 group seminars for 530 farmers. Services of free individual counseling were provided. The head of the Fund stressed that in 2018 the fund will continue to conduct group seminars for cattle-breeding cooperatives at its own expense.
